An evening in two parts will begin with a presentation by artist Pak Sheung Chuen and curator Stella Fong who will discuss the state of contemporary art and culture in Hong Kong in relation to their own artistic practices. The second part of the evening will begin at 7:30, with a brief reception followed by a screening of video work by ISCP artist Domenico Mangano (Italy) and Rä di Martino, a New York-based Italian artist.
　
This event is part a series called Out of the Studio, an ongoing collaboration between ISCP and Art in General. Launched in the fall of 2006, Out of the Studio features ISCP artists and curators with artists selected by Art in General to raise awareness of global artistic practices. These free to the public events are organized as panels, lectures, screenings, and performances.

今天下了第一場雪，好凍，風吹過來的時候面會很痛。加拿大的朋友Isabel說這不算得甚麼，在加拿大冬天的時侯，若果哭，淚水會即刻結成冰，眼睛就不能打開了，說得有點誇張。我把一樽雪收藏在雪櫃裡（真係大鄉里，這是我第一次看見雪），不知可以怎樣帶回香港。2/12

兩個星期前ISCP開放日，我有個很小的展覽，有些人看了作品通過電郵給了我一些回應: “…I found your work gentle revealing, almost with a Buddhist openness…”這已經不是第一次有人這樣說。雖然我很喜歡看一行禪師和豐子愷的書，但我並沒刻意有「佛／禪」的想法，很多時我只是沿著成長時在教會學習的靈修方法去思考，我會把一句句子讀得很慢，想得很細，在字裡行間很多聯想，其實字句表面的內容是很平白的，但想的時後把前文後理，甚至是其他的聖經經節、自己的生活瑣事一同想，幾隻字，也可以回味後久。

　
我很喜歡聽胡恩德先生的講道（http://www.hec.org.hk/），他就好像一本活聖經。另一位是劉志雄先生（www.peter-liu.net/index.htm），在日本行路創作的每一個晚上，心寒的時候就是靠聽他的讀話走過。1/12

立法會補選葉劉當選意味23條立法翻案

四年過去。董建華下台，經濟復蘇，特區政府的民意支持度上升，為23條立法的新時機是不是已經到臨了？澳門已提出要在09年之前為23條立法，香港呢？也是時候測試一下民意的溫度了。於是，與23條立法綑綁在一起的葉劉被推到台前參加補選。她的宣傳單張宣稱她「一如既往」。葉劉若當選，那就意味為她的下台平反了，也是為23條立法遭否決翻案了，更意味市民以手上的選票表示當年反23條立法反錯了。這是偉大祖國一黨專政壓倒「兩制」的勝利！
　
儒家道德哲學講「義」與「利」。利己是人的一種本能，但當利己本能觸及害人、誤人、損害公眾利益等是非對錯標準的時候，就會受到良心煎熬，也就是「義」的考量了。良心決非如葉劉所說「人人有」，即使有良心的人也不是「時時有」。說「人人有」的人，根本沒有良心觀念。香港大多數市民的良心，儘管不是「時時有」，但到投票這一刻，仍是可以有點良心的。若僅僅四年，香港人就見利忘義，讓23條立法翻案，香港真是太恐怖了。
